There's also the Android version. I'm not a big Amiga fan, so I only fire it up occasionally, but I personally feel like I'm 'covered' legally for my very casual use of the operating system since I bought it there. All the software I throw at is completely pirated anyway. I've bought Amiga games where commercially available on GOG, Google Play, and the App Store.

I have the most purchased Amiga stuff on iOS but it's not very well supported (won't run on 64bit). FS-UAE is the sane choice, as explained here. When you buy software for one platform it doesn't typically give you permission to run it on other platforms. But in the case of Amiga Forever, according to their website, they are. Regardless, legal or not, we all do what we think is right.

I just really wish that whatever copyright (and/or other?) laws that exist, with regards to emulation, would be changed. I've heard that a lot of it has to do with the Digital Millenium Copyright Act, although I don't know how much. Regardless, I really think it's absurd to have laws that hold that emulating computer and console games from the 80's, and even 90's, is illegal. I'd love to get an Amiga, but living in the USA, even getting an NTSC Amiga 500 would be pretty difficult, and expensive. I love the design of the CD32, but CD32s are now listed for at least $500.00 on eBay. And that's minus shipping and handling charges from European countries.

Jul 3, 2001 - I never even had a chance to use one! I ahve more games for the Atari ST than I do for my PC or Mac combined. I wonder if the architecture per se was a one-way street or if it would have kept that advantage given R&D? And I expected that the Amiga platform wasn't gonna be around forever. With Amiga Forever 2012 Plus Edition, an awesome interface opens the door to true Amiga emulation in just a click, and pretty soon, you're up and running with over 100 included games, plus support for any Amiga titles and demos that you can download!
